My sister in-law is having a baby in just over a month (gender unknown) and she wanted a changing pad... so here it is... There is a nice thick layer of padding in the middle to keep it cushy. Vinyl on one side to wipe all kuckers off and cloth on the other (that is washable) so it stays warm for a little one. Hope she likes it. :)

CANNING
So when in your life have you ever seen so many crockpots lined up?! I had SIX going all making a secret apple butter surprise. As you can see, I've been busy canning all sorts of goodies. Pickles (my all time fav), pears (the tasty cinnamon kind), peaches, tomatoes, apple pie filling, apple sauce, and grape juice. Hope they last a whole year!

Girls Night
Last night I had a girls night and we made these cute pumpkins. Some are a little creepy and others were just plain cute. These were super eay to make and way cheep.
I went to DI and grabbed an old lace table cloth wrapped it around the first and hot glued some bugs on it.
For the Second one I found some sequins and glued them on.
For the itty bitty one, I had some garage sale stickers and I put them on randomly. Then you take a can of spray paint, the color of your choice, and spray away.

What is it about a sleeping baby that makes me so happy
six months
Quiet Book
This book was so fun to make it just took a lot of time. I drew out each animal I wanted then cut them out on material that would feel most like the animal I was imitating. The hardest part was sewing each of these on by hand. If I had been smart I would have used my sewing machine but I wanted the hand made look. Turned out kinda cute.

Quinlee K.
My next project
So I decided I need to stop giving all my projects away. I gave this to my mom last year and I forgot to make myself one in the process which turns out to be a good thing because I have no room for it. I WILL FIND A SPARE WALL. My goal is to be more organized and I am relying solely on this (probably not the best idea), so i better get it done quickly.
So this was my gift to my mom last year for her birthday. It actually didn't get finished for an additional month or so because I couldn't figure out the frames (I kept breaking the glass). It still needs a little work, like say for instance that ribbon I believe is super cheap and not so attractive but one day I will tear it down and beautify it a bit more.
Pottery is the best way to relieve stress so obviously I go as often as possible. I have now accumulated an assortment of pots that I will never, EVER have enough room to house. So for now, they make great gifts!
This is my favorite thus far. My hope is to one day be good enough that i can make the sinks for our master bathroom... still a ways out.
Quin's Sleeper
These are so nice for the middle of the night when you have to change a million diapers and cant manage to keep your eyes open.
Quinlee modeling my nighty...
These things are so addicting. Once i got started i couldn't stop.
I wanted to quit my job in order to become a full time seamstress...
Only making these gowns of course. :)
Okay now i know these are a little rough looking but i did learn an important rule while making this...
Wonder-under is your friend. They just turn out so much cuter and they are much easier to make.
